PU Base

Our PU base system is renowned as one of the most popular options available in the market. Its exceptional quality and performance have made it a preferred choice among many clients.

The thin skin base of our system delivers an ultra-realistic finish that closely mimics the appearance of natural scalp. This creates a seamless and undetectable look, boosting your confidence and allowing you to embrace any hairstyle with ease.

Lace Front, PU Base

Lace front systems are renowned for their incredibly realistic hairline, thanks to the ultra-fine lace material. This fine lace creates a seamless blend with all skin tones, giving the appearance of hair growing directly from the scalp.

However, it's important to note that the delicate nature of the lace front system can impact its lifespan. The thinness of the lace makes it more susceptible to wear and tear over time. Therefore, it requires careful handling and maintenance to maximise its longevity.

Partial PU Base

Partial PU base systems are specifically designed for clients with mild hair loss, offering an excellent solution for seamlessly blending into your natural hair.

These systems feature a partial polyurethane (PU) base that provides a comfortable and secure fit while allowing your scalp to breathe. The PU material also ensures a natural-looking appearance, effortlessly blending with your existing hair.

Fitting Process

Your stylist will start your fitting by shaving the areas of your hair that needs coverage, this is where your system will be secured with an adhesive suited to your lifestyle and skin type to give maximum hold.

Once the system is fitted your stylist will cut and style your hair for a realistic and manageable style. Throughout this appointment aftercare is explained in great detail.

AfterCare

Caring for the system at home is what will determine the lifespan of your system.

We recommend that the system is washed once a week with conditioner only. If you wash your hair multiple times a week the lifespan of the system will be shortened.

We recommend you use argon oil on the hair to keep the hair tangle free and in good condition. Your natural oils from your skin do not reach the hair on the system so this needs to be replaced by using argon oil.

Maintenance

All systems require 4 weekly maintenance as natural oils from your skin breaks down the adhesive. This can be done at home or in salon.

In salon the system is removed, cleaned, and washed you’re scalp is cleansed and shaved then the system is refitted. Your natural hair is then trimmed into the system again.

This can take upto 1hr 15mins.

Washing

Step 1 - Prior to washing, gently detangle the hair from ends to roots, using a comb or brush.

Step 2 - Thoroughly wet your hair by completely soaking it under the showerhead. Apply two pumps of shampoo, using downward strokes and gentle patting motions. Repeat this process twice for optimal cleansing.

Step 3 - Apply a generous amount of conditioner to the mid-lengths and ends of your hair. Leave the conditioner in for a minimum of two minutes to allow for deep nourishment and hydration

Styling

Step 1 - Gently squeeze excess water from the hair. Apply a heat protection spray evenly throughout the hair, and then apply one pump of argan oil specifically to the mid-lengths and ends.

Step 2 - Set the hair dryer to medium heat and direct the airflow downwards, using the nozzle pointed along the hair shaft, until the hair is approximately 90% dry. Take care to avoid tangling the hair during this process.

Step 3 - Begin detangling the hair starting from the ends and working your way up towards the roots. Once detangled, continue blow-drying the hair until it is completely dry. Ensure that the hair is 100% dry before finishing the blow-drying process

2 week liability

At Solution, we offer a two-week grace period for the replacement of potentially defective Hair Extensions. During this timeframe, a compulsory check-in service, free of charge, is required. Your stylist will evaluate the hair to ensure appropriate aftercare measures are being followed and to verify the absence of any system defects.
